Textile Job in BD - Asrotex Group. Assistant General Manager - Fabric

Job Description / Responsibility

• The person should have in-depth knowledge in fabric Knitting, Dyeing, Finishing
• To set overall planning for knitting, dyeing, finishing & delivery to the buyer as per TNA
• To understand technical problem for knitting, dyeing & finishing ahead of starting production
• To trouble-shoot of all the potential problems for knitting, dyeing & finishing in advance by discussing with the respective team
• Excellent understand on fabric construction & capability of developing any type of knit fabrics.
• To communicate, coordinate and administration the functions of fabric teams and ensuring their best performance with motivation
• To provide necessary guideline to ensure smooth & quality production as per Buyer requirement
• To monitor the production flow on regular basis to ensure proper executions align with plan.
• Keep close communication with the production units, maintaining a very close coordination with the factory production & head office merchant team
• To coordinate with garments merchandising team & Buyers
• To generate all kinds of report, as required by the Management / Buyers

Educational Requirements

B.Sc in Textile Engineering from Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTex)

Experience Requirements

• At least 8 year(s)
• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
  Inspection, Laboratory/ Testing, Merchandising, Planning, Textile Engineering
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Garments (Woven/Apparel/Knitting), Textile (Spinning, Weaving, Knitting, Dyeing/Finishing)

Additional Job Requirements

• Age At least 35 year(s)
• Able to work under pressure.
• Possess good personality and leadership skill having excellent interpersonal communication skill.
• Strong mail correspondence skill having good command in English.
• Computer skill is a must having excellent skill on excel.
